How I became a composer:
I was very lucky to grow up in a musical family – even as a child I made music with my sister on my mum’s old guitar and a small children’s keyboard. Later I was allowed to learn to play the cello for another 6 years.
I’ve always loved video games. Even as a child I was fascinated by music, which led to me trying to play it on my little keyboard. I spent countless days of my childhood doing this.
When I turned 14, 19 years ago, I experimented with DAWs for the first time – and I was hooked. In the years that followed, I spent every spare minute I had trying to understand more about music production, game music, film music and everything around it. And 6 years later, after finishing school, I decided to ‘try to become a full-time composer’.
And that somehow worked out. Since then I have never done anything else and have written music for hundreds of game, film, trailer, band, corporate CI & various other projects (for example 2 books).
